I think. thiiiink.

contemplating life THURSDAY. So I went on a date yesterday.  We were going to dinner... this guy is great! Good-Hearted, so so kind. It's delightful to spend time with someone who wants to spend time with you. Im learning what I like in a date. If I leave having gotten to know the other person as well as understand myself a little better. If I am inspired (but not stressed). Also, if I got to genuinely laugh. As I chatted with whom we'll refer to as Classy Man, he asked me some questions that helped me create some goals.

CM asked:
  1. What is your favorite piece of art?
  2. What is your favorite Medium? Why?
  3. You like Rock Climbing? What do you know about it?
Goals:
  • Find my favorite piece of art. Love it. Get stoked!there ARE things out there worth remembering. Try to be EXCITED to remember things!
  • Instead of being on the defense for my love of Photography, understand that people are glad that I enjoy it. I can be glad too! Don't get mad...get GLAD. Also, I really do love other mediums. I can keep learning about them so I can help others understand why I do what I do.
  • research the things that I love. intelligentconversations are SO FUN.
SO thank you Classy Man. youre stellar! I'd love to go out with you again.... oh wait. I get to on the 4th :) yaaaay!!

IVE ALSO DONE SOME READING... well listening actually.

In his talk "How Do I Love Thee?" Elder Jeffery R. Holland said

-There are lots of limitations in all of us that we hope our sweethearts will overlook. I suppose no one is as handsome or as beautiful as he or she wishes, or as brilliant in school or as witty in speech or as wealthy as we would like, but in a world of varied talents and fortunes that we can’t always command, I think that makes even more attractive the qualities we can command—such qualities as thoughtfulness, patience, a kind word, and true delight in the accomplishment of another. These cost us nothing, and they can mean everything to the one who receives them.-

Ive realized lately how many limitations I really have. However, after reading this I realized that I am progressing in the qualities that I can command. WHEW. that makes me feel lots better. haha

... ALSO...

-In a dating and courtship relationship, I would not have you spend five minutes with someone who belittles you, who is constantly critical of you, who is cruel at your expense and may even call it humor. Life is tough enough without having the person who is supposed to love you leading the assault on your self-esteem, your sense of dignity, your confidence, and your joy. In this person’s care you deserve to feel physically safe and emotionally secure.-

I LOVE THIS. what a great reminder! Not even 5 Minutes people. I know Heavenly Father wants me to be THE HAPPIEST that I can be. So I'd like to thank Classy Man for a great date. Heavenly Pizza by the way.
