Let me just explain a few of my days to you.
this break has been advantageous.
My first day of FREEDOM consisted of work (casual Fridaaaaay) and the crepeiest crepe party of the century. I helped Beks clean her bathroom and kitchen so she could live in a sparkley apt. thuuuus.... i wanted to live in a sparkley apaaaartment too!
SO I got out the soft scrub and gave my shower some love. Its sick but I will admit that we had mold growing in the grout SO of course I used my toothbrush to annihilate all gross-ossities. I know, I know. SICKWHYDUDE? well i didn't have a spare okay people. Can I just say that my shower is feeling ultra new? it is.
Later that night Beks and Gordan brought a Fh'zookie to me which was the nicest thing... I ate way too much and BOY did i need a toothbrush. SO I bummed a ride off BEKAAAH at 12:30 in the AM and I got the cheapest of all cheap toothbrushes from Wally-world.
I was exhausted and slept like a rock. My hair is probably the greatest in the mornings... especially when I need a haircut! haha WHAT.
Sunday i taught combined Stake Sunday school which was super ultra fun! I curled my hair... I straight up looked like a poodle. when that happens all you can do is own it! I was wearing my 80s sweater dress... someone told my roommate that I looked like the capitol lady from the Hunger Games... HAHA they said all I needed was my hair dyed pink. I have to admit Im tempted.
It is so cold in Logan that my CTR ring FROZE TO MY FINGER. It blistered kind of and then was a scare. I know it sounds impossible but its REAL.
They had to stick both my arms at the Biomat yesterday.... terrible luck. haha The poor needle guy was so embarrassed. he said my vein moved, Im a little upset that my body was out to get me! I didn't die or nothin though :) actually i felt pretty legit walking outta there with TWO elbows wrapped. and some monies in my pocket.
I found this beautiful piano in Hyde Park!
I made wassail and donuts for this poetry SLAMM that Gordan and I planned annnd after our some-odd 20 guests left McKenna and I got ourselves into some awkward relationship situations... like lovely Chris and I as pictured. and yes we do have mistletoe hanging in front of our front door.
Kendal made these lovelies for our PRE-TEMPLE breakfast.
I did some initiatories for his family. There was this cute Temple worker. She said "and can I adopt you" at the end of what she needed to say. it was SO cute!!!
oh, and did I mention that my family is the greatest?
