I'm not reeeeadyyyyy...

I hope in reading the title to this post you ALL thought of "My Turn On Earth"... i mean if you didn't thats fiiiiine. but that is what i was referring to. So sometimes we aren't ready.
we arent ready to eat. move. sleep. draw. get dressed. talk to strangers. read a book. write a letter. print a photograph. drive a car. sing a solo...in our car...? haha. calculate. clean the bathroom. say goodbye to our goldfish. work. RUN. talk. bake. shower. be with people. be by ourselves. be in love. I mean pa-LEASE! there are so many things we aren't ready for throughout the days...weeks... months and YEARS.

Sometimes even though we don't feel ready, Heavenly Father knows that we are.
however, SOMETIMES we do feel ready and Heavenly Father knows we aren't.

I don't know which of these scenarios is more difficult to come to terms with. All I can say is I have felt ready to do a lot of things in the past little while and as ive made choices and yelled "hey everyone! :) im ready!" SUDDENLY my sense of being is like NOPE. JaNessa, let's calm down. back it up GURL.

I believe that in the times that we don't feel ready, Heavenly Father can give us the strength and a quiet confidence that out weighs feelings of weakness.

I also believe that in times where we think we are ready and have a SUDDEN [readiness SHUTDOWN] Heavenly Father can give us the strength to persevere  and the quiet confidence to continue striving for our goals no matter the reach. HE can give us patience with ourselves. He can help us forgive ourselves for not listening to Him very well, and for those that we harmed in rushing rushing rushing.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING.

So yeah...things have been a little rough these past few days... it all built up to todaaaay. I stayed in my yoga clothes all day today. I slept a lot. I didn't sculpt. I ate junk. I had a not so hot time in photo. i didn't answer the door. my phone chat skills were terrible to say the least.... but im marchin' on. Institute here I come!
